Did you see anything in the news about ‘Border Force’ over the weekend?

The Australian Border Force put out a media release on Friday which was “clumsily worded” according to Mr Abbott but which stirred up many with these lines:

“ABF officers will be positioned at various locations around the CBD speaking with any individual we cross paths with,” Mr Smith said.

“You need to be aware of the conditions of your visa; if you commit visa fraud you should know it’s only a matter of time before you’re caught out.”

It might be too late to include in your task, but it’s pretty interesting. And it couldn’t happen in a whole lot of countries, even some of those who claim to be democratic (no names, but cough, where I lived last year, cough!)
